If these don’t feel natural to you, this won’t be the right environment. THE ROLE You are the bridge between the bride, the stylist team, and the operations behind the scenes. You take ownership of everything that happens after a bride says yes. From fittings and collections to stock, steaming, and boutique standards, you ensure everything runs exactly as it should. This role is hands-on, fast-paced, and detail-driven. It requires someone who takes pride in doing things properly, not quickly. WHAT YOU’LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR Customer Experience Main point of contact for brides post-purchase Running fittings, styling, and collection appointments Supporting brides in and out of dresses Providing calm reassurance and solutions when needed Dress Preparation & Alterations Steaming, pressing, and preparing gowns to a high standard Minor sewing and finishing tasks Quality checking every gown before appointments Liaising with seamstresses and tracking alterations Operations & Stock Receiving and processing deliveries Managing stock and CRM accuracy Preparing gowns for appointments and displays Keeping all operational areas organised and controlled Boutique Standards Maintaining a show-home level of presentation Supporting merchandising and displays Assisting with campaigns and in-store content Business Growth Identifying improvements in processes Contributing ideas to improve the customer journey Supporting operational development projects THE REALITY OF THE ROLE This role is physically and mentally demanding. You will: Be on your feet most of the day. Move dresses, unpack deliveries, and manage stock. Work at pace and under pressure during busy periods. Handle multiple responsibilities at once. Work Long hours in the peak summer months. Handle and resolve issues as they arise. We are upfront about this because the right person will thrive in it. NON-NEGOTIABLES Strong organisational or operational experience Confidence in a client-facing environment High standards in customer service Calm, caring, and professional presence Ability to work Monday to Thursday plus a flexible day Minimum of 32 hours per week. Late Wednesdays during peak season Full commitment during peak summer months Place of work is at Emily Bridalwear in Sheffield PLEASE NOTE: Any leave needed for the successful candidate in June, July or August will more than likely not be approved for this year.
