The Dresses

All of our dresses are about flattering the bride, and each collection has a unique focus. 

Because we personally choose all our dresses from past and current collections we don't have every single dress in the shop from each designer. We therefore suggest you contact us with any styles that you are specifically wanting to try on.

From Start to Finish

Once you have found your dress, the process of making her begins. 

Measure
We will measure you and compare the measurements to the particular designers size chart.

We will then order a size that best fits your shape.

This does sometimes mean that the dress will need a little bit of altering when she arrives.

Make
Once we have the measurements we need, we will then place the order with the designer. Each designer varies in manufacturing and delivery times. Because they come from all over the world, Canada, America even Cheltenham! It does take some time for them to arrive.

Therefore we generally suggest allowing 5-6 months for the dress be made and delivered.

To ensure a stress free run up to the wedding we like to have the dress in at least 3-4 months before the wedding.

This way we get to alter the dress and allow enough time for you to accessorize her without feeling rushed.

Tweak
We like to make sure our brides are happy with the finish of their dress. Therefore we don't just hand you the dress once she has been delivered. We make sure that the fit and length is just right. Unlike some shops, we offer fittings at our shop.

Our chosen seamstresses  will then alter it to ensure it fits perfectly. We work with skilled and experienced seamstresses who are just as picky as we are when it comes to things looking just right.

On average most brides need 3 fittings. But this can vary with at least 2 weeks between fittings and then collection.

Take
All our dresses are pressed and then stored in a breathable gown cover. Upon collection you will be shown how to store her up to the wedding. This ensures the least amount of creasing possible.

We also like to make sure you know how to bustle your dress up in the evening along with how to correctly fit her.

Store her forever
Once your dress has been adored by everyone at the wedding we can also arrange for her to be cleaned and then stored in specially designed boxes with acid free tissue paper. Your dress can remain in this box until you feel compelled to try her on again, or for anniversaries!
