At Emily Bridalwear, we are committed to maintaining the trust and confidence of our visitors to our website. We want you to know that we do not sell, rent or trade email lists with other companies for marketing purposes or anything else.
This Privacy policy provides detailed information about how we collect your personal information, how we use it and the very limited conditions under which we may disclose it to others and how we keep it secure. It’s not horrendously long, but worth a read!
Our website, www.emilybridalwear.co.uk places cookies, which are small data files, on your computer or handheld device. This is standard practice for all websites.
Cookies are essential for helping us deliver a high quality website and browsing experience for our customers, and some collect information about browsing behaviour.
By using and browsing the Emily Bridalwear website, you consent to cookies being used in accordance with our policy. If you do not consent, you must disable cookies or refrain from using the site.
When someone visits www.emilybridalwear.co.uk we use Google Analytics, to collect standard internet log information and details of visitor behaviour patterns. We do this so we can find out things such as visitor numbers to various parts of our site. There is no identification of anyone and we do not make nor allow google to find out identities of those visiting our website.
We offer guest Wifi within the shop, we do not collect any data when you are using this service.
As part of the registration process for our e-newsletter, we collect personal information. We use that Information for a couple of reasons: to tell you about stuff you have asked us about; about forthcoming events and things we think might be of interest to you; to contact you if we need to obtain or provide additional information; to check our records are right and to check every now and then that you’re happy and satisfied. We will never rent or trade this information with other organisations and businesses.
We use a third-party provider, Mailchimp, to delivery our newsletter. We gather statistics around email opening and clicks using industry standard technologies to help us monitor and improve our e-newsletter. For more information, please see mailchimps privacy notice.
You can at any time unscubcribe to general mailings at any time of the day or night by clicking unsubscribe link at the bottom of any of our emails or by emailing us at info@emilybridalwear.co.uk
When you book an appointment with us, purchase a product or use our contact form. Your name, wedding date, email and contact number will be stored in our online system called Xedo. You can view their privacy policy here. In order for us to provide a personal service we will make notes on your online file and keep a record of any items you liked along with measurements and other information we may need to process your order effectively and enhance your experience with us.
We work with a number of suppliers. Unless absolutely necessary the only information that is provided is your name and wedding date. At times measurements are given as well. Our suppliers do not have access to our online system. Your information will be given via a purchase order online via our order system or email, or on the phone.

Those only directly related to Emily Bridalwear can access your details. These  people are, Staff members, Authorised Seamstresses and our accountant. None of them are allowed to copy or use your data for any other purpose than to provide you with a service and update our own records appropriately. You are entitled to view, amend, or delete the personal information that we hold. All you need to do is email us at info@emilybridalwear.co.uk
The policy was reviewed June 2018 and will be review in 6 months time.
